“I am a freelancer TV cameraman/final cut editor. I work in London. One job I do, amongst others, is to shoot, edit and send news stories via internet/FTP to European and South American TVs. Very often I need to edit and send stories from a coffee place, such as Starbucks. So, I need to carry my laptop with me. I have a broadcast camera and a 17" macbook pro. I also need to carry, obviously, sound equipment, batteries etc. I spent two all days researching backpacks. I needed a backpack that would protect my expensive laptop ( over £2000 ) and also have organized compartments for the rest of my equipment. So, I was looking for a photographer backpack. Most of them have vertical compartments, what was no good for me. The K4L is one of the few that does have organized compartments in the horizontal, so I can carry microphones, batteries etc without a problem. After two days and probably seeing all good professional backpacks, I was in doubt between the K4L and Brenthaven pro 15/17". Brenthaven offers, by far, the best protection for my mac, but it doesn't have compartments for photographic equipment ( what I was planning to use mainly for sound equipment) and doesn't have a raincover. Living in London, a raincover is essential and, doing news, I really needed to have a backpack organized in compartments that would give me quick access to equipment. I chose and bought a K4L. I am very happy with it but, as I read that you welcome feedbacks. Let's go then:

1. As I said, I spent two days researching backpacks and end up choosing the K4L. That tells something about its quality.
2. The handle in the top could be padded and bigger. Not much room there for my hands.

What I really didn't like is the computer compartment. It says in the ad that is heavily padded. Not really. Not even close to the Brenthaven one. I think you should work on this aspect of the fantastic K4L because, you see, this backpack will be used only by photographers or cameramen who, more often than not, work with macintosh. Macs are expensive computers. I would like to have had more protection for my macintosh, even if I had to pay more for a backpack. Anyway, it's a great backpack and the only match I found for it was the Brenthaven pro , which wasn't so "complete" as the K4L. Many congratulations!!! Umberto Aguiar”

“I have had my Naneu U60 for about two months and just love it. I am an avid fisherman and take my camera with me on all fishing trips. The U60 had been a blessing. It has been comfortable on the long hikes to hidden fishing holes, has protected my cameras when I was caught in a heavy down pour and allows me quick access to my equipment. I was going to purchase a larger more expensive backpack but I am glad I didn't. I carry two cameras and extras. Oh, and when you inadvertently drop the bag the cameras are well protected. Thanks for making such a fine product in a world where so many companies are cutting corners.”

"Upon preparing for a shoot overseas I recently purchased a Urban Gear 100 bag by Naneu, Unfortunately my laptop would not fit in the designated space, I looked at every other manufacturers products I could find, locally and on the internet, and I found no other computer / camera backpacks designed or built as well as the Naneu PRODUCTS, so I actually decided to buy a smaller laptop. My curiosity got the best of me and I called Naneu, the sales manager informed me they were coming out with a larger bag, The Urban 220 and that this would accommodate up to a 17 “ laptop, now I have the best of both worlds, A Dual Core Laptop, and the best camera bag pack on the face of the earth, Thank you Naneu! Naneu Naneu!"

"Just wanted to pass along that this is a great company with great gear. I made my purchase after finding out that they would ship to APO addresses. I was kept well informed of the progress of the shipment and within a week received my U220. That night I had my camera and other essential gear loaded up and have never looked back. The bag has taken a beating over the last couple of weeks with no sign of wear and that’s in helos, C-17s and flight line operations rain and snow. But when I rearranged the camera insert, the Alpha will accommodate my D200 with the 70-200 VR attached, even when the battery grip is attached :) I have to say I am very pleased with the Alpha.”

"I have been really happy with the Echo bag I ordered...the price and quality are both great...I use it as my camera bag but also as a general backpack so its great that the camera insert is removable...when the camera insert is removed...the bottom portion of the bag is perfect for holding a 6 pack of your favorite beverage...I really like the military ops serious...its nice to see camera bags that can also have style....I have recommended them to a number of photographers....."

"Just wanted to send Naneu kudos on making some GREAT camera bags.
I'd been looking for a good solid bag for work and play for a while... something with style (unlike all the other camera bags on the market) and perhaps didn't scream "I'm holding expensive gear, STEAL ME" like all camera brand bags.
When I came across your site, I knew I'd found the jackpot. That very day I purchased the black Lima bag and it's been on my shoulder ever since. Today I stopped into the website to make sure you were still around 'cause I'm thinking about saving up for a couple more of your bags, or even another Lima (for when I wear out my inserts and such)... "All of your products were most interesting, well made, and had enough differences to set them apart from the many competing camera and equipment carrying products I have been reviewing the past few years. I hope they are selling well on the market.
I regularly use the Lima military camera case.
