Philip Morgan
estherhavensPhilip Morgan is a writer and photographer with a particular interest in landscapes, the coast, architecture and history as well as wildlife and nature and enjoys exploring the landscape and photographing a wide range of subjects.  

He has had numerous photographs and articles published in magazines recently including features in Suffolk and Norfolk Life Magazine, Suffolk Magazine, Digital SLR User, Evergreen, Essex Life and other magazines.  Philip has been interested in photography for several years and has also had images published in travel guides and calendars and gained experience as a car photographer and recently won the Thompson and Morgan garden photography competition.

Philip's book entitled, Discover the Suffolk Coast, is due to be published on 23 August by Halsgrove and is a mix of good quality photography and informative writing, with details of the history of each area as well as things to see and do.

He enjoys the work of photographers such as Colin Prior, Joe Cornish, Ansel Adams, Frans Lanting, Charlie Waite and Steve Davey and enjoys reading magazines such as National Geographic.

Previously he studied law for five years in London as an undergraduate and postgraduate at UCL and was called to the bar by Middle Temple before working as a law lecturer, in law firms and successfully representing clients in employment cases and other charity and advisory work before pursuing his interest in writing and photography.
