Skeeter Hagler is the recipient of journalism's highest honor, the Pulitzer Prize. The Pulitzer Prize for feature photography was awarded to Skeeter for his essay on the lifestyle of the modern day Texas Cowboy.
Mr. Hagler has been an assignment photographer for over 30 years covering stories all over the world for a variety of clients.
Mr. Hagler graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Architecture in 1971. After graduation Skeeter worked as a newspaper photojournalist for several Texas newspapers for 18 years. Skeeter started his free-lance photography career in 1988.
Skeeter's Pulitzer Prize winning series will soon be part of HBO's 8 part miniseries on the stories behind the Pulitzer Prize winning photographs. HBO and an emmy winning writer/producer team will be dramatizing Skeeter's Cowboy series using leading actors and a prestigious director.
