Inspired from our Alpha backpack, the Alpha-L is a laptop/photo backpack and is a bit larger. Made of water resistant 1680D ballistic nylon, YKK zippers and a removable, padded camera insert, as well as padded, ergonomic shoulder straps and waist belt, the Alpha-L is a lightweight backpack that weighs 4.75lbs. It features a top compartment for personal gear, a bottom padded camera compartment, as well as a dedicated padded compartment to fit most 17" widescreen laptops.

The camera insert is hidden in the back and is capable of holding a PRO DSLR camera, such as the Nikon D3 or Canon EOS 1D, with up to 70-200 f/2.8 lens attached plus 3-4 additional lenses, flash and portable media device. Velcro holds the floor of the top compartment in place so it may be removed, along with the camera insert, to use it as a daypack without carrying photographic equipment.
